Humble beginnings with a vintage Adler industrial sewing machine, a few hides, and saddlery needles and threads. A group of friends with diverse skills in design and multimedia decided to make nice tangible things. Seeing space for a new generation of heirloom goods, a relationship with the craftsperson, and need for ethically produced and sourced things we embarked on this experiment.

Inspired by the use of the finest natural materials and functionally elegant designs made for longevity and the potential to be maintained and repaired. A space where time tested traditional techniques meet modern style and design. It was a response to the trend of fast fashion and disposable goods.

The idea of maintenance and repair as part of the lifecycle of a thing became obsolete at some point; we strive for designs that reintroduce the materials and manufacture techniques that allow for this and without compromising elegance we lessen our footprint. Natural materials often require oils and wax for longevity and natural fibers generally need more care when cleaning.
