The Dapper Lumberjack

This was inspired by the Filson vest tradition, intended as a an under layer for a waxed canvas top vest. It is constructed of two different layers of wool and has wood buttons. The buttons were sewn as a mirror to the outer vest so as to lock the garment when worn together.

This was another collaboration with Lindsay Newbold, who helped construct this small run of vests for the Bay Area winter.

The vest was designed with simplicity and function in mind, something that could be worn for work in the mill or out to the important contra dance.
